Taking a Stand in the name of Jesus the Christ!

Welcome to Take A Stand Media Ministries (TASMM, Inc).

We are a BIBLE teaching, WORD believing ministry.

We believe that the BIBLE is the inerrant WORD of GOD, given to man inspired by the HOLY
SPIRIT through the direction of GOD.

We believe that there is nothing that the LORD cannot do, no disease or illness nor diagnosis of
PTSD that the LORD cannot heal and no trial too big or too small for JESUS to deliver you through.

Michael Payne, born in 1950, is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served from 1970-
1975. His fight with alcohol, drugs and other addictions, his battle with depression, suicidal thoughts,
anger and rage have lead him to work with veterans of Vietnam, and now Iraq, who fight with PTSD
and other problems of which he has overcome through JESUS. Michael has traveled to Baghdad,  Amaryah, the mop up of the battle of Fallujah  and all of central Iraq including in the Sunni Triangle on five
separate occasions. Each of these trips lasted for about a month, embedded with the 1st Cavalry
Division, U.S. Army in 2004, 2006 and then 2007 at on the onset of the "surge" into Sadr City with
the 82nd Airborne as a freelance reporter.

While in Iraq, Michael traveled the mean streets of Baghdad in Humvees, slept where they slept, ate
MREs with them for days out on FOBs(forward operating bases) right in thick of the enemy  and
walked the streets with troops on patrol as he accompanied them on midnight raids in at over 300
missions as U.S. troops searched out the terrorists. Accompanying the US Marines as they cordoned
off whole cities, performing search and destroy missions to root out the enemy and weapons caches.

Michael has also worked as a journalist embedded with the Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] in Israel
in February 2006, where he got a ground level view of the true situation in Israel and the conditions
that the people of Israel live with everyday. When the war of 2006 broke out between Hizbullah and
Israel, Michael spent 2 weeks in the north along the border of Lebanon traveling through Haifa,
Tiberias, Shloma, Kyrat Schmona and the Golan Heights. He has spent several months on Kibbutz
Nir Am which borders the Gaza Strip and lies between Gaza and the bombarded town of Sederot.

He has traveled to Guantanamo Bay Prison facility and observed the conditions of treatment of the
terrorist prisoners. Note that they are not held under inhumane conditions but their religious requirements are catered to.
Michael has spent many hours in counseling with veterans.  Prior to his stints in Iraq and Israel,
Michael was a radio station manager and program director at WJTM FM, Frederick, MD.

"Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their
forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant
Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you
go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may
be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not
commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD
your GOD will be with you wherever you go."    Joshua  1: 6-9

We do not want you to do anything without petitioning the LORD for what your part would be. We
do only ask you to pray and follow the LORD's direction.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the
LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace". Numbers  6: 24-25
